I join the D4D team as an Associate Research Fellow based out of Bath Spa University and will be supporting, collating data and working alongside the various team leaders on each of the projects.
I am a novelist, film-maker and photographer, with an MA and PhD in Creative Writing. My key area of interest is the dynamics, formation and nurturing of empathy and resilience and my photography, documentaries and novels explore this from various angles. I am a co-founder of the Empathy Research Group based out of Bath Spa University and the instigator and co-ordinator of the SenseAbility Festival and arts stream working alongside the Pound Arts Centre, Springfield Community Centre and Corsham Court Campus. I am the designer and facilitator of the Creative Writing Laboratory process – a community writing research project based out of Springfield Community Centre.
