D4D

Disability and Community:
Dis/engagement
Dis/enfranchisement
Dis/parity and Dissent

D4D was a research programme that ran from 2018 – 2021, set up to investigate the evolving ways in which we as disabled people express, perform, experience and practise ‘community’.

In partnership with Bath Spa university and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research  Council’s Connected Communities stream, D4D consisted of a number of different contributing projects exploring diverse areas such as robotics, the arts, education, employment, genetics and gaming.
